THE SALES CAPABILITY HEALTH CHECK
The Sales Capability Health Check is a simple tool to assess a person’s strengths and skill gaps across the seven core sales skills: Implementing Strategy, Creating Opportunities, Building Trust, Discovering the Need, Presenting the Solution, Closing the Sale and Writing & Reporting. The assessment works best when the salesperson completes the health check for themselves and then gets their manager or coach to use the tool to assess them as well. The salesperson and their manager can then compare notes and create a coaching plan to help the salesperson leverage their strengths and improve their weaknesses.
